Sketch Time

This week’s sketch on OWH is:

I’ve had these Authentique Designer papers (collection – lovely) that I picked up on sale. Now that my Thanksgiving and Christmas cards have been mailed it is time to work on Valentine’s and Love Cards which I will be mailing by the end of next month. So here are three using the sketch:

Sorry for the lighting – I don’t know what is wrong with me lately but my photos don’t seem to be coming out as bright – could it be the fall season and I need to use a better spot – perhaps that is it. Anyway I used an embossing folder on the white card base; used Spellbinders Renaissance Hearts Border and MFT small doily die cut;  MFT Blueprints 3 (circles) and EK Success Sticko stickers on the circles. I heat embossed the GinaK Designs sentiment with white embossing powder.

I heat embossed the Stamps of Life hearts (embellishments) in white directly on the card base. The flowers are from the MFT Blueprints 3 die set. The leaves are Martha Stewart border punch.

The border punch is from Martha Stewart and the tabs on the side are from MFT Blueprints 3. I cut the little girl mailing the card from the same Authentique paper.

I wanted to use Spellbinders Distress Edges Card Creator but it didn’t work with the sketch but here is my card anyway, using the same papers with some kraft cardstock and MFT small doily die for the GinaK Design sentiment.
