Send A Smile 4 Kids, Stamps of Life

Ladybug Smiles

Today I was in my garden and found several ladybugs on the rose bushes (very healthy sign). I am continuing to fill my package to Send A Smile 4 Kids and thought of using the ladybug stamp from Stamps of Life. This ladybug will surely delight a little one (or even a teen).

I stamped the image and sentiment on white cardstock using black and grape jelly ink, then using a paintbrush, water, grape jelly ink I flicked some of the ink onto the card. I found out that the more water you use the bigger the droplets. I try to use only a tiny bit of water and then add the water slowly for a more intense effect. I die cut a piece of black cardstock using A2 Basics Card Creator B, matted the white onto black, then attached it to the grape jelly card base.

No matter how hard I try I can’t cut straight for anything and I love using die cuts to keep my cards looking as professional as I can. I would be lost without Card Creator dies (Spellbinders).
