What is it about animals that excite children so much? Yesterday I took the little boy I care for (after school and summer) to the Library for a show called “Eyes of the Wild”. I don’t know who had more fun, Ian or I!! They had seven different animals, the wallaby and chinchilla were quite fascinating to me. The current challenge over at Send A Smile 4 Kids is to make animal cards for the kids.
Here are some of the animal cards I created.
This one is a complete CASE card from the ever talented and inspirational Darlene Devries, who has a wonderful community of card makers on her site Live Love Cards The stamp set is Hero Arts Woodland Creatures, water colored using Inktense Watercolor pencils. One boo boo – the tail on the porcupine is encroaching in the racoon’s space. So then I made this one:
This one I used SU Watercolor Crayons. I still like the first version better (boo boo and all). And my final is this one using the same stamp set:
I used copics to color and a cloud embossing folder. Thanks for stopping by.
