A Time of Change

It is a time of change at OWH. Cards are only being accepted until August 1, 2015. Beyond that no more cards will be accepted; in fact if you do send cards and they arrive at OWH after the deadline they will be returned at your own expense.

So I have been looking for other ways to use the skills I’ve learned at card making. My husband drives for a local hospital and I am making him Christmas Cards for his clients. I made Valentine’s Cards for the widows/widowers at our church and Mother’s Day cards for single moms at our church. I also send cards to Send A Smile 4 Kids.

I’ve been linking my cards up to a few more challenges. This is my first upload to the MoJo Monday blog. I’ve had this Authentique two sided paper pad for a few years and decided to try to use it up. So here are two cards I made that are going in the last box I will be sending to OWH.

These cards were created using this sketch. In addition to the papers I also used the MFT Lace Background, and Floral Notes Stamp Sent from Verve for the sentiments.
