Darlene over at Live Love Cards has put up a challenge this month for shiny/sparkly cards. Since I am still into creating fall cards I went with pumpkins. Shiny pumpkins you ask? I used fine detail gold embossing powder and this is how it looks:
You can’t tell but the bottom is also shiny. And here is how the bottom looks:
I watercolored the background, then using versa mark and the Misti stamped the images and heat embossed. Added the bow and off it went to a friend as a birthday card.

Hi Anne, what a beautiful card! WOW….that gold embossing powder is just the right touch of shimmer for this card. I am sure your friend looooved it. Great job.
Anne, I saw your card at Live Love Cards, and was intrigued to take a closer look. I love your subtle colors, and all the shine! It’s funny, because I have that exact same stamp set. No clue who made it or what the name is, but aren’t the images/greetings wonderful? Thanks so much for sharing this! 🙂 ~ Andrea
