The challenge over at Words 2 Scrap By this month is to create a card supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I know women who have struggled with this and several who lost the battle. I am fortunate enough at this time not to have to send this card to anyone.
I have this sentiment from Stamplorations which I wanted to use and the Elizabeth Crafts outline sticker went well with the sentiment. I used acetate on the bottom of the card for interest and it also coordinated with the stripes in the shoe. I colored the shoe with pencil and gel markers.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy this beautiful day (it is here in PA).
Hi, AnneI
I’m with Bobbi — loving that gem you used to attach the sentiment. And, I love your use of that vellum.
Great card! Thanks so much for joining us at Words 2 Scrap By. 🙂
Love how you used the jeweled brad to secure your ribbon – really pretty effect! Thanks for playing along with us at Words to Scrap By!
Oh how adorable is your card!?! Perfect sentiment to go with the great shoe image. Never having used acetate for anything but a shaker, you have convinced me I need to try it. Love your card. Thanks so much for playing with us at W2SB. hugs, 🙂
So proud of hour work Aunt Anne !! I just had a lumpectomy. Praise God it was negative. But being tested ever 6 months is scary. I love you and your work is awesome. Im so proud to call you Aunt 💕
