My husband and I love to visit the Amish Country in Lancaster County, Pa. which is about an hour and a half drive for us. There is no mistake that God’s Abundant Bounty is everywhere this time of the year. All the fields have been cleared of the elephant eye high corn and the last harvest of the fresh vegetables can be found everywhere at farmers stands along the drive.
I stamped the Kraft card base using MFT Lace Background with Antique Linen Distress Ink. I printed the image and cut it out using a 3″ circle die (I sponged Antique Linen around the edge to distress it). I inlaid a 3.5″ Scalloped Circle die into the Kraft card base, then adhered the cornucopia onto the chocolate scalloped circle. Using copper cardstock at the top of the card I adhered the Leafy Edge Border (Our Daily Bread Designs) and glued on the pearls. To complete the card I added three flat copper enamel dots.
We broke down Sunday morning and made a fire in the wood burning stove. It was so tranquil. I love this time of the year. Happy Autumn everyone and thanks for stopping by.
