Black and White Spring Card

The challenge at Tuesday Throwdown this week is Black and White. I received the February Hero Arts Kit earlier this month and I am challenging myself to use it to make all my cards until I receive the March Hero Arts Kit. I didn’t think I would be able to pull off a “spring” black and white card but I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome. Here is my card:

The papers I believe are from Die Cuts With A View (old) the three flowers are an EK Success punch and I added the highlights with a sharpie. The bird and sentiment are from Hero Arts. I white heat embossed the bird on black card stock and then using the matching die, cut it out – you really can’t tell in the photo but the bird has a black outline around it. I used a sketch I found on Pinterest to design this card.

In addition to Tuesday Throwdown I would like to participate in the following challenges:

Addicted to Stamps and More – Anything Goes
Crafty Creations – Anything Goes
Word Art Wednesday – Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp – Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by!
