The task to make my mother a Mother’s Day card was inspired by the current challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches. You can check out the sketch over at their blog. Here is my card:
Wplus9 Quilt die and square die cut (don’t know if they still sell them, they may be retired) were used. I sewed a zig zag stitch around the border of the frame to tie in with the die cut. I used the smaller sentiment tag so that it would not compete with the quilt pattern.
Have a wonderful Mother’s Day to all the moms, step moms, grandmoms, great grandmoms, mom mom’s, nana’s, grammies, foster moms, mom mentors, and everyone who is a mother figure in someones life.
