Splatter It

The current challenge over at Tuesday Throwdown is to “Splatter It”. I got out all my different sprays and cut down  a 5.25×4.0 watercolor panel, put the panel in my ink box and spritzed away to create my splatter panel.

I let the panel dry overnight. Using the large You die cut from the 2 You’s Casual Fridays (Catherine Pooler) I die cut it into the middle of the splattered panel and adhered it to black card stock. Using white heat embossing powder I embossed the I’m here for onto black card stock, and cut it on an angle before adhering to card. To balance it all out I used some black enamel dots to complete the card.

This was a fun and easy card and fits the bill for a masculine card as well. My brother is going through a tough time dealing with a friend’s illness, so this card is going off to him.

In addition to Tuesday Throwdown I would like to participate in the following challenges:

Addicted To Stamps and MoreMake your mark
Crafty Gals CornerAnything Goes
The Crafty Addicts ChallengeAnything Goes/All About Men and Boys
Little Red WagonOld or New Trends (old trend – ink sprays, new trend – white embossed onto black cardstock for sentiment)

Thanks for stopping by.
