Outline Stickers, Stinkin Inkers

Stinkin Inkers May 2020 Challenge

I pray that all of you are keeping safe.

I am spending lots of time in my craft room and I am finding so many things that have gone by the wayside. Today I found a box of “Outline Stickers” which I haven’t used in quite some time.

May’s Stinkin Inkers Challenge is all about BAGS. Create a gift bag, tote or purse.

I love outline stickers and used the negative space of this sticker (Elizabeth Craft Designs) to create the focal point of my card. I used transfer tape to take off the negative space and applied it to an embossed piece of cardstock (Cuttlebug Embossing Folder no longer available). The additional stickers are all outline stickers. Loved how this card came together with all supplies in my stash.

Stay safe my friends and be blessed.

Stinkin Inkers January 2020

Can you believe it is 2020? I can’t. The older I get the faster time flies. This past year I was introduced to two more grandchildren (5 now). It is a very exciting time for my husband and I. We have Jackson (13), Julianna (10), Landon (3), Weston (9 months) and Julius (3 months).

The current challenge over at Stinkin Inkers for January 2020 is “Staying Warm”. Anything related to staying warm over the winter: hats, coats, sweaters, hot beverages, blankets, mittens, etc.

Here is my card:

I used a discontinued stamp set from Sweet N Sassy to create my card.

Stinkin Inkers is hooking up with Double Trouble Paper Crafting Challenge (click on the link to find out the particulars). Double Trouble Challenges are fun and innovative as they try to combine other challenges with theirs. It gives us more reasons to be creative.

Please check out my About Me page to see how I donate cards to worthy causes. My number one is Send A Smile 4 Kids, followed by 2 Veterans Homes in PA, Smiles for Seniors, Inc. and Soldiers Angels through Scrapping for Soldiers. You can donate to any of these charities or you can send me your cards and I will add them to the boxes I am getting ready to mail to these organizations. Just email me and I will give you the information.

Thanks for stopping by.

Things that Sparkle

This is the last challenge for 2019 over at Stinkin Inkers. “Things That Sparkle” use gems, glitter, foil, etc, on your project.

For this card I pulled out gold foiled and silver foiled outline stickers. I attached these three gold poinsettias to Micro Fine Glitter Paper and colored them in using Copic Markers. I also had (only two) holly leaves on hand and did the same process for those. I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment. I attached all the outline stickers to a piece of card stock (red dots) and then attached the red dots to DCWV Fine Gitter card stock and then attached that to a card base. I added a fine line of the green DCWV glittered cardstock above the Merry Christmas sentiment to bring attention to the sentiment.

Looking forward to seeing your entries on our challenge page.

I am particiating in the following challenges:

A Place to Start – Happy Holidays
Double Trouble– Wrap It Up
Artsy Stamper – Winter Holidays

Thanks for stopping by and I can’t wait to see your creations over at Stinkin Inkers.

Stinkin Inkers February 2019 Challenge

Please join us over at the Stinkin Inkers Febraruy 2019 Challenge “Baby It’s Cold Outside” (Cocoa, sweaters, mittens, quilts). I used Sweet and Sassy’s stamp set (Winnie’s Warm Winter Wishes) to create my card. It is on the clean and simple side as there is a lot of white space and was simple to create.

Stinkin' Inkers Header

The first challenge of the New Year is up on Sinkin’ Inkers. The theme is “new”. I chose to Congratulate a family who received a new puppy.

January-1-2019

For this card I used elements from different stamp sets. I made my own doghouse out of papers from my stash. The background was created using a cloud stencil.

Thanks for dropping by and make sure you check out Stinkin’ Inkers challenge this month and I hope you will play along.

Happy New Year and Be Blessed.

Stinkin’ Inkers Just Because

I love sending cards for no reason or to let someone know I am thinking of them. They could be sick or going through some tough times. Sending a card can lift their spirits for just a moment and may arrive in their mailbox just at the right time.
