My Favorite Things, Send A Smile 4 Kids, Stamps of Life

Encouragement

I created this card of encouragement for Send A Smile 4 Kids. We are asked to keep the donated cards upbeat. I used the Stamps of Life award2stamp set and stamped in colorful inks. Using MFT die-namics mini doily circles I cut out three and mounted the colored circles onto them to make them pop. The papers used are from K&Company Amy Butler Designer Mat Pad (very old). I added the white round jewels from Dazzles which are actually stickers. I really like using the stickers in place of pearls or rhinestones. I am not the neatest person when it comes to making cards, I get glue everywhere but on the card, and then most of the time I put too much glue on and it ends up looking messy on the card. I also like them because the stickers do not add bulk to the card.

Awesome Smiles

I created this card using stamp sets from Stamps of Life. I randomly stamped the dots from the Bubblegum4me set. The curly cue stamp (phone cord) and the dot stamps are from the phone4you set, and the sentiment is from the award2stamp set. I don’t know about you, but I have too many stamps that need to be used more creatively. Sometimes I think the stamps I have are outdated but when I look through the stash of paper I have, the stamps and sentiments I have, I try my best to make everything more current.
