Whenever I see cards white on white I am in awe of the look and always want to attempt to do it but feel intimidated by it. The midweek challenge for OWH is a color challenge. White on white!!! No longer putting it off. Here is my attempt.
I used my go to swiss dot cuttlebug embossing folder and cut the piece on a diagonal and also cut out a one inch strip for the top; clear embossed the heart with MFT music background stamp; added ribbon and stamped sentiment in MFT red hot.
So I surprised myself and went on to make this card using the leftover diagonal piece
Then I made this card:
I used Damask embossing folder (Darice) as a base, then I added another layer creating the flower using MFT flowered medley and the new layered leaves die-namics and used Blueprints 3 (bow) with a ribbon underneath. I decided not to use a sentiment on this card.
OK that’s enough. I have to stop myself — tomorrow is Thanksgiving — lots to do.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and may God bless you and your families. I love creating cards with all of you and count OWH as one of my biggest blessings!
