Well here we are the end of 2013 and I am still trying to keep up with all the sketches. This week’s OWH Sketch Challenge #205 can be found here. I’ve only gotten to sketch 104 this past year and my goal is to be caught up by March (we’ll see how that goes). So for now here is my version of Sketch #205.
Kraft cardstock, woodgrain background stamp, large scale background stamp on the strip behind the tree and the circle dies are all from My Favorite Things (MFT). The strip of DP is from GinaK Designs and the tree is from SU – Lovely as a Tree. I used a variation of the thumping technique on the tree using Tim Holtz Distress Markers. The tree and background strip behind it were stamped with Memories Sepia dye ink. The woodgrain background was stamped with Kraft color ink from MFT – I love tone on tone stamping it is one of my favorite card making techniques.
